Not all vinyl is the same, and this is where cheap installs fail. We install heavy-wall extruded PVC with a minimum .150-inch wall thickness on posts, titanium-dioxide UV inhibitors, and galvanized-steel or aluminum reinforcement inside the bottom rail of every 6-foot and 8-foot privacy panel. Thin-wall big-box panels in full Miami sun turn chalky and bow within a few seasons.
Because vinyl panels are rigid, layout matters more than with wood. We shoot grade with a laser before setting posts so panels sit level and gaps stay consistent, and we step or rake panels on sloped lots rather than leaving a wedge at the bottom.

Does vinyl fence hold up to hurricanes in Miami-Dade?
Properly installed heavy-wall vinyl with concrete footings and reinforced rails performs well in tropical storm winds. Solid privacy fences take the most load, so we increase post depth and reduce post spacing on exposed runs and canal-side lots.
Will a white vinyl fence turn yellow?
Quality extruded PVC with titanium-dioxide UV inhibitors does not yellow, and it is warrantied against it for life. Yellowing and chalking are symptoms of thin-wall recycled panels sold as bargains.
How do I clean a vinyl fence in South Florida?
Rinse with a hose and use a soft brush with mild soap twice a year. Green mildew film on the shaded north side comes off with a 1:4 white-vinegar solution — never use a pressure washer above 1,500 psi.
How does vinyl maintenance compare with wood?
